Take a Recruitment leader with over 20 years’ experience recruiting globally from mid-level to C-Suite assignments within large corporate, and fast paced PE backed businesses. A highly experienced CEO with over 20 years’ experience leading and growing PE backed successful business in the UK and Europe, and an entrepreneur from industry that created RSD, the “Anti-Recruitment, Recruitment Partner.” Put them in a coffee shop in London where the conversation evolved to the search and selection industry, what they felt would be a genuine differentiator in the market, and it quickly became apparent:
- There is a lack of “real industry expertise” in recruitment. Imagine having a seasoned and successful CEO use their expertise and networks to support other businesses with their search at that level, teamed with a recruitment professional who knows how to deliver successful assignments on time and to the highest standard.

Spencer - Richardson has a wealth of experience and a vast network of senior and qualified professionals across the UK, that ensures your search assignment will be delivered successfully and in the agreed timeframe.
Our Executive Search offers a complete retained service working in partnership with you.
We will research the market and identify suitably qualified candidates working in relevant industries. We will then contact and initially screen, before conducting detailed interviews and delivering a final shortlist within the agreed timeframe. Our highly experienced team will also lead on the offer management before a contract is signed and a start date agreed.

Kirsty Gill
Managing Director
With over 21 years’ experience spanning the UK and International, Kirsty is a seasoned recruitment expert. Having started her career as a Trainee in one of the largest global recruiters before embarking on a journey building new businesses.
Following this, she offered consultancy and bespoke in-house advice to clients leading and developing their internal Talent Acquisition teams. Kirsty brings an incredible passion for recruitment as a profession, working with integrity, building long-lasting relationships, and developing teams of highly skilled search professionals.
Darron Cavanagh
Lead Partner
Darron has over 28 years’ experience within business leadership at a senior level, the last 17 years as an Executive within private equity businesses. Having been a client of RSD, he joined as a shareholder and Group CEO in 2022, bringing a wealth of knowledge and contacts across multiple industries.
Darron is involved personally in all senior executive searches , and this unique position in our team allows him to really understand the business plans of our clients, enabling us to match the right future leadership, and our clients to focus on their business delivery and growth.
Rob Dyson
Partner
As an executive in industry, Rob had a passion for service. He had experienced various processes himself and had also been a client of the recruitment sector. Frustrated by the fee chasing within recruitment, Rob founded RSD with the intention of being different. RSD is built on a promise of service, offering expertise in its sectors.
It has specialist teams that focus on understanding their individual markets and go beyond traditional recruitment by offering market insight. With a focus on large regional and national clients who have a recurring need for recruitment services, RSD follows a partnering model. This approach allows RSD to concentrate on its mission of being the anti-recruitment recruitment partner.
